The Augusta Eco Wellness Resort has a modern computerized fire protection system and a 24-hour security service. All of these are designed to ensure that your stay with us is peaceful and safe.

However, here are the active measures to be taken in the event of an emergency. Please take a few minutes to read this information, as well as the information you will find on the inside of your room door, this contains the exact evacuation location and plan. In case of doubt, please contact our Customer Service department by dialing extension 300 on the telephone in your room.

The Resort also has a qualified Emergency Team that will assist you in case of need. Below we recommend some guidelines for action in different cases of emergency:

IF YOU HAVE JUST ARRIVED:

Know the exits and where the alarms and fire extinguishers are located, both in your room and in public areas. And please respect the "No Smoking" signs.

IF A FIRE IS ENCOUNTERED:

Activate the nearest alarm, contact the Front Desk Department by pressing key 9 on your room telephone and close the doors to prevent the fire from progressing. If there is smoke get your face as close to the floor as possible, crawling if necessary. Try to reach the nearest exit and stay below the level of the smoke. Do not use the elevators and try to remain calm at all times.

IF YOU HEAR AN ALARM:

Check your situation on the nearest evacuation plan and also make sure the door is not hot before leaving; if so, follow the steps in the next section.

If the corridor is clear of smoke, leave the room and close the door. Do not use the elevators, but use the nearest emergency staircase and follow its directions. And above all, try to remain calm at all times.

If YOU ARE STUCK IN YOUR ROOM:

Call Reception by pressing the 9 key on your phone and give your exact location. Turn off the air conditioning and fill the bathtub and sinks with water. Plug door seals and air vents with wet linens or towels. Have water ready to re-wet bedding or towels and keep your bedroom windows and veranda open, with curtains drawn. Try to remain calm at all times and provide your cell phone number in case internal communication is interrupted.

IN CASE OF EVACUATION FROM THE HOTEL:

Get out of your room and close the door. Do not linger to collect your luggage. Use the nearest emergency stairs (refer to the nearest evacuation plan) and follow the instructions given by the Hotel Security Team. Please comply with the instructions given to you. Do not use the elevators.

IF YOU NEED SPECIAL ASSISTANCE:

If your physical abilities are limited, press the 9 key on your telephone and let the "Front Desk Department" know as soon as possible.
